We believe that the quality of decisions made in India, whether by companies, governments, or researchers, depends on the quality of data available. Right now, that data is compromised by bias, fraud, and low response quality. We are building the infrastructure to change that.

It is easy to generate responses. It is hard to generate good responses. We obsess over data quality — every system we build is designed to protect the integrity of the data.
RespondInk is being built by a small team that has personally experienced both sides of this problem. We have sat in research labs trying to get 200 valid survey responses. We have watched friends fill forms as a favour that they never got compensated for.
We are starting small and building carefully. We would rather have 50 researchers with excellent data than 5,000 with garbage. We would rather have 500 honest respondents than 50,000 who game the system.
